ABOUT THE COMPANY

Hawke was founded on the idea that every modern business needs a CMO-level expert to lead digital marketing efforts. We customize data-driven, performance-focused solutions to help launch, scale, and invigorate businesses of all sizes, industries, and revenue models. We have been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, INC, Business Insider, and CNN, and we count Red Bull, Verizon, and Evite among our clients. Our branding team is a small, senior group of creatives who build brands and campaigns together, every day.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a production graphic designer who can move quickly across a daily queue of design requests without losing craft. You will sit on the branding team, so you will also get to contribute to brand systems, style guides, and larger campaign work. The right person knows design fundamentals cold, catches their own mistakes before anyone else does, and genuinely enjoys working shoulder to shoulder with other creatives rather than heads down alone.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Design social media graphics, marketing collateral, flyers, and one-off assets from the daily request queue
  • Work from and extend brand style guides so every asset lands on brand
  • Contribute to brand design and campaign work alongside the VP of Branding and Art Director
  • Build layouts for both digital and print, applying the right specs for each output
  • Partner with account managers who own timelines and project workflow
  • Turn around quick-hit requests when there is little lead time, and manage longer projects in parallel
  • Prepare, export, and organize final files so other teams can pick them up cleanly
  • Self QA every deliverable for typos, bleeds, sizing, contrast, and readability before it moves forward
  • Take feedback from senior creatives and apply it without needing the same note twice
  • Support email campaign design when the lifecycle team needs an extra set of hands

YOU'LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

  • Several years of production design experience, ideally inside an agency or in-house creative team
  • Command of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong use of type, color, layout, hierarchy, balance, and alignment
  • Fluency in print and digital best practices, including color space, resolution, bleeds, and file types
  • Real attention to detail, with a habit of catching your own typos and production errors
  • Enough seniority to work from a brief with minimal hand holding
  • A collaborative working style, comfortable hopping on a call to talk through a brief
  • Strong written and verbal English and clear, timely communication

NICE TO HAVE

  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Experience designing emails and building them inside a CMS or email platform
  • Animation or video editing skills
  • Familiarity with current social media formats and best practices

WHY JOIN THIS TEAM

You will sit with experienced creatives who have built brands and personal brands for years, on a team that talks to each other constantly. There is real range here: enough day-to-day production work to keep you sharp, and enough brand and campaign work to stretch you. If you are at the point in your career where you want both, this seat gives you both.
