Company: Cullen & Rose

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Cullen & Rose is an independent marketing consultancy that treats media and brand work as a measurable investment - not a cost center or a checklist of vanity metrics. We work with emerging and mid-size brands that are building toward real inflection points, and we operate lean and senior: no bloated account teams, no layers between strategy and execution. That means the people who touch our clients' campaigns are trusted to own outcomes, not just tasks.

We built this firm on the belief that disciplined, test-driven media—paired with real accountability for the numbers—is what actually moves a business forward. If you like working somewhere your judgment and initiative are visible and valued (rather than buried under process for its own sake), you'll fit in well here.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re hiring a hands-on Paid Media Manager to own day-to-day performance campaigns across paid social and paid search. You’re comfortable living inside Ads Managers, managing multiple channels at once, and you genuinely enjoy testing your way into winners. You ask “why,” push for clarity, and can speak confidently with clients—not just push buttons behind the scenes.

You'll work closely with the Managing Partners and client leads to execute performance plans, monitor pacing, and translate goals into measurable outcomes.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Plan, build, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube, and TikTok (mix will depend on the client and brief).
  • Focus on driving measurable outcomes—primarily leads, pipeline, or revenue—rather than pure awareness.
  • Set up and manage lead-generation campaigns (e.g., Meta lead forms, LinkedIn lead gen, search-based lead flows), from objective selection through basic qualification.
  • Design and run structured testing across audiences, creatives, formats, and offers, then scale winners thoughtfully.
  • Monitor performance and pacing, making ongoing optimizations to hit agreed KPIs and stay within budget.
  • Ensure tracking and measurement are in place (pixels/tags, UTMs, conversion events) in partnership with client and internal teams.
  • Produce clear, concise performance summaries with practical recommendations instead of raw exports and screenshots.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered workflows that create real operational efficiency—using tools like ChatGPT/Claude, or similar to automate reporting, QA, and account hygiene, and to turn raw platform data into faster, sharper insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with strategy and account leads on media plans, budgets, and briefs for new and existing scopes.
  • Handle trafficking, creative uploads, QA, and overall account hygiene so campaigns run clean, reliably, and predictably.
  • Join client-facing calls as needed to share updates, collect context, and help turn feedback into media action.

YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

  • 3–6 years of hands-on media buying experience across paid social and/or paid search.
  • Proven experience running performance or lead-generation campaigns (B2B and/or high-intent B2C) with clear targets.
  • Familiarity working with influencer or creator content inside paid media.
  • Strong proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads; familiarity with LinkedIn Ads and at least one additional platform (TikTok, YouTube, etc.) is a plus.
  • A solid grasp of optimization levers: bidding, budgets, audiences, placements, frequency, CPA/CAC, and funnel stages.
  • Demonstrated experience building AI-driven workflows for reporting and operational efficiency - not just using AI tools casually, but having actually built automations, prompts, or processes that saved real time or improved output quality (e.g., automated dashboard/insights summaries, AI-assisted QA checks, automated client-ready recaps).
  • Comfort managing multiple campaigns and budgets at the same time without losing structure or visibility.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into decisions and next steps.
  • Experience operating in a small team or startup environment, with a track record of building personal systems and processes rather than relying on ones handed down by others.
  • A demonstrated pride in account hygiene, documentation, and process discipline, treating them as core to the work rather than administrative overhead with a specific high attention to detail in trafficking, QA, and ongoing management;
  • Comfort owning an account end-to-end as one of a small number of people touching it, with accountability for outcomes rather than just task completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with enough confidence to join and contribute to client conversations.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with B2B, high-ticket, or niche-audience campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Asana, Wrike and other standard small business tools.
  • Comfort building simple performance dashboards or reports that pull from multiple platforms.
  • Experience working alongside sales or CRM teams to understand lead quality and downstream impact.
  • Exposure to more advanced measurement approaches (lift tests, incrementality, or similar).

WHY JOIN THIS TEAM

You’ll be a core media owner inside a small, senior consultancy where thoughtful testing and disciplined performance work actually get used. Cullen & Rose values clear thinking, honest communication, and people who want to understand the business logic behind the brief. If you’re looking for a long-term role where you can sharpen your performance craft and work closely with experienced partners, this is that kind of seat.
