Company: One of Our Amazing Partners

ABOUT THE COMPANY

One of Our Amazing Partners is a full service marketing and creative agency in Orange County, California, built around branding, websites, and social media. The studio produces its own videography, photography, graphic design, and message development in house, and works with privately owned businesses ranging from single owner operators to international brands. Social media content creation and management is the agency's core recurring service, and the team treats it as marketing, not posting: every piece of content is built to do something for the brand behind it.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A hands-on social media professional who is equal parts maker and account manager. You own a small book of client accounts end to end, you build the content strategy behind them, and you also sit in the edit, write the caption, and build the graphic. You can explain why a piece of content worked, translate that into a hook, a story arc, and a content pillar, and connect the whole plan back to what the client is actually trying to sell. You are comfortable being the person a client looks to for creative direction.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Own social strategy and execution for approximately four client accounts across different industries, including a consumer product brand, a nonprofit foundation, a storage company, and a professional services firm
  • Build monthly content calendars where each post has a defined purpose, funnel position, and messaging bucket rather than a slot to fill
  • Define content pillars, messaging buckets, and hook variations for each brand, and test versions against each other
  • Write scripts, shot lists, and captions that hold a story arc from first frame to call to action
  • Edit short form video from footage the in house team captures on batch shoot days, and turn one shoot into a quarter of content
  • Design on brand graphics and carousels in Canva, keeping each client's visual identity consistent
  • Study why specific content performed, break the mechanics down, and apply the lesson to the next round of scripts
  • Tie content plans to commercial outcomes, and be able to say which posts are building awareness and which are meant to move someone toward a purchase or an inquiry
  • Lead client facing conversations on content strategy and creative direction with confidence
  • Maintain each brand's voice across every channel and keep projects organized and on deadline

YOU'LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

  • Three or more years in social media for multiple brands at once, ideally inside an agency
  • A bonus, not a requirement: strategic range across brand architecture, funnel thinking, ICP definition, and the ability to explain how different content types serve different parts of the customer journey
  • A portfolio that shows both the thinking and the craft, including scripts, edits, graphics, and results
  • Strong short form video editing in CapCut or similar, and design fluency in Canva
  • Writing that sounds human and on brand, in fluent professional English, with copy that carries hooks and payoffs
  • A commercial instinct: you ask what the content is supposed to earn before you build it
  • The judgment to use AI as a support tool for sharpening your own work, never as the source of the creative or the design itself
  • The ability to absorb four accounts quickly during a short structured handover period

NICE TO HAVE

  • Higher level graphic design skills beyond Canva, such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Advanced photo or video editing craft
  • Experience building content for both product and service based brands
  • Experience presenting content performance and recommendations directly to founders

WHY JOIN THIS TEAM

This is a small studio where the work is made, not outsourced. You get four accounts to genuinely own, a founder who thinks about marketing psychology daily and wants a real counterpart on strategy, and an in house production team feeding you original footage instead of stock.

Remote team members join the daily morning huddle and are treated as part of the studio. This engagement is a four month contract covering a parental leave, full time at 40 hours per week, with a genuine path to a permanent full time seat based on fit and performance.
