Talent Acquisition Specialist — Screening Focus

About the Role

We're looking for a semi-senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to own candidate screening across our active client searches. You'll be the quality gate between a sourced candidate pool and a client-ready shortlist — evaluating candidates against role-specific criteria, applying structured rubrics, and making sure every submission is one our clients can trust without a second layer of review.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced role: expect to run 15–20 live candidate screenings per day, each about 15 minutes. That pace is a defining part of the job, not an occasional busy stretch, so we want to be upfront about it rather than have it be a surprise once you start.

It's also a hybrid role at its core: screening is your primary focus, but you'll flex into sourcing support when the team needs it, especially on technical or specialized searches. And it comes with real ownership — once ramped, you'll operate independently with minimal day-to-day oversight. If you want a role with genuine autonomy rather than close supervision, this is built for that.

What You'll Do

• Run 15–20 live candidate screenings per day (~15 minutes each), evaluating against role-specific rubrics
• Document clear, specific feedback on every candidate you screen
• Partner directly with Talent Acquisition Team to stay aligned on client priorities and adjust screening criteria as needs shift
• Keep candidate records accurate and current in our ATS (Loxo) so pipeline status always reflects reality
• Step into sourcing when the team needs extra capacity, particularly for harder-to-source or technical roles
• Join regular team syncs to keep sourcing and screening calibrated on what "good" looks like

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in sourcing and/or screening, ideally within a multi-client recruiting or staffing agency.
• Experience recruiting for marketing, creative, or growth roles is strongly preferred.
• Genuine comfort with a high-volume, fast-paced live call schedule
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight once ramped up
• Strong spoken and written English communication — Screening will be all in English.
• A structured, consistent approach to evaluation — you can explain why a candidate didn't move forward, not just that they didn't

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Claude or similar AI tools — not required, and we'll train you, but a real plus if you've already got some experience with it
• Experience with an ATS platform (we use Loxo)
• Exposure to technical or specialized hiring searches - Most of our searches are for Marketing/Design/Advertising
