The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and helping clients understand how strategy and creativity fuel growth.

This is a client-facing role focused on:

  • Developing new business relationships
  • Qualifying and converting inbound leads
  • Partnering with our leadership team on proposals, pitches, and overall growth strategy

This is a key position in our agency’s growth trajectory — representing One of Our Amazing Partners in the marketplace, expanding our network, and shaping the future of our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across a variety of industries
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects through outreach, networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries
  • Lead discovery calls to uncover client goals, pain points, and timelines
  • Collaborate with strategy, creative, and digital teams to craft proposals, pitch materials, and presentations
  • Maintain and report on all opportunities within our CRM
  • Represent One of Our Amazing Partners at events, meetings, and networking groups to expand visibility
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to spot new opportunities
  • Partner with leadership to refine and optimize our business development strategy

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 3–7 years in business development, sales, or client services (agency, marketing, media, or design experience strongly preferred)
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; comfortable with C-level conversations
  • Relationship-Driven: Skilled at building trust and nurturing long-term client relationships
  • Organized: Able to manage multiple opportunities, deadlines, and follow-ups simultaneously
  • Strategic: Can clearly articulate the value of brand strategy, design, digital, and marketing services
  • Self-Starter: Motivated to win, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes ownership of outcomes
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) is a plus
