ABOUT THE COMPANY
One of Our Amazing Partners is a rapidly growing U.S.-based digital marketing agency that helps eCommerce brands grow smarter, not just bigger. Through SEO, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), analytics, and digital strategy, the team partners with ambitious brands to uncover growth opportunities and turn insights into measurable business results. As the agency continues expanding its CRO offering, they’re looking for someone who can become a trusted strategic partner to both clients and the internal team.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a CRO Account Strategist who enjoys building trusted client relationships just as much as solving conversion challenges. This role is equal parts strategist, consultant, and relationship manager—ideal for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with exceptional communication and a passion for helping eCommerce brands grow.
You’ll initially partner closely with our CRO leadership, learning our clients and processes before gradually taking ownership of your own portfolio of accounts. As your confidence and expertise grow, you’ll become the primary strategic advisor for your clients, leading conversations, identifying opportunities, and driving optimization initiatives from discovery through execution.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Manage a portfolio of CRO clients, serving as their primary strategic point of contact.
- Lead client meetings, present optimization strategies, communicate performance insights, and build long-term trusted relationships.
- Analyze user behavior and website performance using tools such as GA4, Microsoft Clarity, heatmaps, session recordings, and other analytics platforms.
- Design A/B testing strategies, recommend experiment variants, and partner with developers to bring tests to life.
- Audit websites and conversion funnels for clients without active testing programs, identifying opportunities and developing prioritized optimization roadmaps.
- Coordinate implementation with internal developers, designers, client teams, and external agencies across Shopify and other eCommerce platforms.
- Review, QA, and confirm website changes and experiments before and after launch to ensure smooth implementation.
- Build and maintain CRO roadmaps aligned with each client’s business goals and growth priorities.
- Deliver proactive updates, recommendations, and next steps that keep projects moving forward.
- Collaborate closely with internal SEO, design, development, and CRO teams to deliver measurable client results.
- Directly work with and report to the Lead Developer and CRO Manager.
YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE
- Proven experience in Conversion Rate Optimization
- Experience managing client relationships in an agency, consulting, or client services environment.
- Strong familiarity with Shopify and experience working with other eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or custom-built storefronts.
- Experience using analytics and behavior tools such as GA4, Heatmap.com, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Triple Whale, or similar platforms.
- A strong understanding of experimentation methodology, A/B testing, and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders while knowing when to involve specialists.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, initiatives, and competing priorities.
- A naturally curious mindset that enjoys testing ideas, uncovering insights, and continuously improving performance.
- Professionalism, patience, and composure when navigating client questions and complex stakeholder conversations.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with experimentation platforms such as Shoplift, Intelligems, or similar tools.
- Experience collaborating closely with development teams on website implementations.
- Familiarity with UX research, heatmaps, session recordings, and customer journey analysis.
- Exposure to SEO, paid media, lifecycle marketing, or broader digital growth strategy.
