As an E-Commerce Project Manager, you’ll ensure that complex, cross-functional initiatives move from concept to launch smoothly and effectively. From Amazon to Shopify to emerging marketplaces, you’ll bring structure, accountability, and communication that keeps projects on track and clients delighted.
What You’ll Own
Project Coordination & Execution
- Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Media, Creative, AdOps, Analytics, SEO) to ensure alignment.
- Track project requirements and timelines, proactively communicating status updates to Account Managers.
- Identify potential roadblocks early and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
- Maintain and enhance project management workflows and best practices.
- Own call notes and ensure action items are captured, built, and tracked in ClickUp.
Campaign Operations Management
- Oversee campaign setup, from creative asset organization to proper tracking.
- Manage campaign launches, ensuring quality assurance at each stage.
- Maintain thorough documentation and enforce adherence to established processes.
Client Deliverable Management
- Lead preparation of presentations, reports, and ad-hoc deliverables for clients.
- Ensure client-facing deliverables are polished, consistent, and on-brand.
- Manage approvals and revisions to meet deadlines.
- Support account teams with meeting preparation and follow-up coordination.
- Prepare a weekly “hot sheet” summarizing account priorities for internal visibility.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a central point of communication between all internal teams.
- Escalate timeline or resourcing issues appropriately to Account Managers.
- Ensure transparent project documentation and shared visibility across teams.
- Own call notes and ensure accountability on follow-through.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- 4+ years of project management experience in an e-commerce setting, preferably with exposure to Owned Commerce (websites, Shopify), Amazon, Walmart, or Target.
- Strong ability to work autonomously — identifying challenges, innovating solutions, and navigating complexity without heavy reliance on external direction.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides. Ability to analyze data, craft compelling presentations, and drive data-driven e-commerce strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with key platforms such as Google, Meta, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and emerging marketplaces.
- Experience with e-commerce tools such as Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, Helium10, JungleScout, or similar.
- Proactive, self-driven mindset with a relentless focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
