About the Role
As our first Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll take full ownership of the recruiting process between strategy and final selection. That means you’ll be the engine driving candidate sourcing, outreach, scheduling, and communication, building best-in-class pipelines and ensuring every candidate has a smooth, professional experience.
You’ll collaborate closely with the founder, getting input on role strategy, candidate shortlists, and final decisions, and you won’t be micromanaged. Once aligned, you’ll run with it: writing job postings, managing outreach, building systems in our ATS, organizing files in Google Workspace, and keeping everything moving on time.

Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Outreach
- Take full ownership of sourcing across all channels (LinkedIn, Loxo, Dynamite Jobs, referrals, and direct outreach).
- Write compelling job postings tailored to each role and platform.
- Design and run structured outreach campaigns in Loxo to attract top creative, marketing, and tech talent.
- Proactively build talent pools and keep pipelines full, moving, and well-documented.
- Present shortlists of highly qualified candidates for leadership review — no noise, just top-tier options.
Candidate Experience
- Build a best-in-class candidate journey that reflects One of Our Amazing Partners’s high standards.
- Be the primary point of contact for candidates from first touch to final outcome — ensuring timely, thoughtful communication every step of the way.
- Schedule interviews and assessments seamlessly, making the process feel smooth and professional.
- Actively champion candidates’ experience, gathering feedback and refining how we show up as a brand.
Process & Systems
- Own One of Our Amazing Partners’s recruiting tech stack: Loxo ATS, Aptive Index assessments, Motion tasking, and Slack client channels.
- Build and refine processes within these tools — creating efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
- Maintain clean, organized dashboards and reports that keep both clients and leadership in the loop.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Manage all candidate and client scheduling, ensuring calendars stay aligned and commitments are met.
- Proactively “manage up” — flagging what leadership needs to review, when, and why.
- Keep recruiting timelines tight and organized; own the follow-through that makes the process frictionless.
Process & Systems
- Own One of Our Amazing Partners’s recruiting tech stack: Loxo ATS, Aptive Index assessments, Motion tasking, and Slack client channels.
- Build and refine processes within these tools — creating efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
- Maintain clean, organized dashboards and reports that keep both clients and leadership in the loop.
- Manage file organization and documentation in Google Workspace (role briefs, candidate profiles, contracts, notes) to ensure everything is easy to find and consistently updated.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally in marketing, creative, or tech/digital roles.
- Proven sourcing skills and comfort using modern recruiting platforms and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, clear, personable, and professional.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and relentless with follow-through.
- Thrives in a small, entrepreneurial environment with autonomy and ownership.
- Bonus: Hands-on experience with Loxo, Aptive Index, or Motion.
- Mindset of continuous improvement, always looking for opportunities to automate repeatable tasks, leverage AI tools, and streamline workflows in practical, tangible ways.
