Mike Bodkin is the co-founder and CEO of Talent Scout, the recruiting company that places senior, full-time marketing, creative, and operations talent from Latin America inside US agencies and in-house teams.
Before Talent Scout, Mike co-founded Giant Propeller, a full-service marketing and creative agency. He ran it for a decade and sold it to American Exchange Group. It was inside that agency that he first scaled a team with Latin American specialists, years before anyone had a name for the category, and that experience is the reason Talent Scout exists. He has personally sat in the hiring interview for every role the company places.
He writes here about hiring, team structure, and the economics of building a marketing team without building a US payroll. He lives in Miami with his wife and two children, and spends every summer in Barcelona.
