The 2026 Latin American Marketing Talent Salary Report

The most common question we get on a first call is simple: what does this actually cost? Not the sticker number, the real one. So we pulled the market data on senior marketing, creative, and operations talent across the four countries we place from most, put it next to the true cost of the same hire in the US, and added what we see across our own placements. Here is what a senior nearshore hire really costs in 2026, and where the savings actually come from.

$1,600 to $3,600 / mo
What senior marketing and creative talent earns across Latin America in 2026, by role and country.
$9,000 to $17,000 / mo
The fully-loaded cost of the same senior hire in the US, once benefits, taxes, and overhead are counted.
Up to ~70% less
What an embedded, all-in nearshore hire ($3,500 to $4,500 / mo) saves versus a comparable US hire.
SEO / AEO is surging

Methodology

This report blends two things. First, public salary data for senior professionals (5+ years) across Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil, drawn from ERI/SalaryExpert, Payscale, Glassdoor, Salary.com, Built In, and published nearshore salary guides, cross-referenced across sources and converted to monthly USD. Second, our own placement observations from 30+ senior hires made in 2025, our first year, reported only at the market level. US figures are national averages for senior titles; fully-loaded cost applies the widely-cited 1.25 to 1.4x multiplier (base plus benefits, payroll taxes, equipment, and overhead) from the MIT true-cost-of-an-employee rule. Figures are ranges, not promises. Individual pay varies with experience, specialization, and English level.

What senior LATAM talent earns, by role

Here is the thing about Latin American talent pricing: it is not one number, and it is not uniformly cheap. Senior specialists in high-demand disciplines command real money. The ranges below are monthly USD for senior professionals working North American hours.

Web Development (specialized tier)

Web and technical roles price differently. Senior developers command a premium that can run above the standard band, and highly specialized hires are handled case by case.

Back-End$5,750 to $6,350$5,750 to $6,350$7,000 to $7,700$5,900 to $6,500
Country read: Mexico and Brazil top the local market for most creative and marketing roles. Colombia runs slightly below, which makes it the value pick. Argentina carries the widest range: local pay in pesos converts low, but Argentine specialists in dollarized demand command the region's highest USD rates, so we footnote it rather than average it away.

The real cost of a US hire

Look, the salary on the offer letter is not what the hire costs. Once you add benefits, payroll taxes, equipment, software, and overhead, the fully-loaded cost of a US employee lands at roughly 1.25 to 1.4 times base. That is the number to compare against, not the base.

Role (senior)US base (monthly)US fully-loaded (monthly)
Marketing Strategist / Manager$11,880$14,851 to $16,633
UI/UX Specialist$10,167$12,708 to $14,233
SEO / AEO Specialist$8,803$11,004 to $12,324
Social Media Manager$8,849$11,062 to $12,389
Paid Social Manager$12,109$15,136 to $16,953
Graphic Designer$7,500$9,375 to $10,500
Content Creator$7,500$9,375 to $10,500
Video Editor$7,842$9,802 to $10,979
Project / Account Manager$9,832 to $11,587$12,290 to $14,484

Where the savings actually come from

Now put the two together. A senior marketing or creative hire that costs $9,000 to $17,000 a month fully loaded in the US does the same work, in your time zone, embedded on your team, for an all-in cost of $3,500 to $4,500 a month through Talent Scout. That is up to about 70% less, and the gap is widest exactly where it hurts most: the senior, expensive roles you actually need.

RoleAll-in embedded (Talent Scout)US fully-loadedYou save
Marketing Strategist / Manager$3,500 to $4,500$14,851up to ~73%
Project / Account Manager$3,500 to $4,500$14,484up to ~72%
UI/UX Specialist$3,500 to $4,500$12,708up to ~69%
Social Media Manager$3,500 to $4,500$11,062up to ~64%
SEO / AEO Specialist$3,500 to $4,500$11,004up to ~64%
Graphic Designer$3,500 to $4,500$9,375up to ~57%
Content Creator$3,500 to $4,500$9,375up to ~57%
One honest note, because it matters. You will see local salaries earlier in this report that look even cheaper than our all-in number. That gap is real, but it is not savings you get to keep if you hire direct. Hiring someone in-country yourself means you own the payroll, the compliance across borders, the vetting, the equipment, the management, and the turnover risk. The all-in number is what it costs to have all of that handled and a senior operator embedded and working, which is a different thing than a raw local salary.

What the all-in number includes

The all-in price is not a markup on a salary. It is a full-cycle hiring partnership. Every placement is a senior operator with 5+ years of experience and 8+ out of 10 English, vetted and matched to your team, working your hours. It is month-to-month, you do not pay until you hire, and every placement includes free replacements at any time. No payroll to run in another country, no compliance to manage, no recruiting cycle to fund. That is what sits inside the number.

What we see across our placements

We placed 30+ senior hires in 2025, our first year. A few patterns from the field, at the market level:

  • The roles agencies ask for most right now are project managers and account managers. Operations is where the pain is.
  • The role that surged this year is the SEO/AEO specialist. It moved into our top five requested roles for the first time, and it happened fast. Agencies are feeling the AI-search shift and staffing for it.
  • Paid media and SEO/AEO are the disciplines we place the most, which tracks with where growth budgets are moving.
  • English bar: we hold every placement to 8+ out of 10. That is non-negotiable.
  • Speed: we deliver a vetted shortlist in 10 to 15 business days, and our average time to placement is about 25 days all-in.
  • Retention: more than 90% of our placements stay well past the 90-day mark. People stay.

Sources and methodology: Public salary data from ERI/SalaryExpert, Payscale, Glassdoor, Salary.com, Built In, and published LATAM nearshore salary guides (2025 to 2026), converted to monthly USD. US fully-loaded cost uses the MIT/Hadzima 1.25 to 1.4x true-cost multiplier. Placement observations are from Talent Scout's 2025 placements, reported at the market level. Figures are ranges and reflect senior (5+ years) professionals; individual compensation varies with experience, specialization, and English level.
